Mimaki CG-SRIII Series Cutters
If you need something a little bigger, the CG-SRII is Mimaki’s new range of high value cutter. Available in 1000mm or 1370mm, the CG-SRII series comes with a stand and optical registraion system as standard.
Larger Cutting with a Lower Price
The CG-SRIII series is a capable and professional cutter with a low end price. The CG-SRIII series model also features an optical re-alignment system for re-registering printed output for accurate contour and die cutting, and is supplied with a flor stand as standard.
Higher Cutting Quality
The SRIII series is fitted with the RSC function. This function detects blade strokes and automatically corrects the blade force even when the media thickness or blade length changes. With this function, more precise cutting can be achieved.
‘Half Cut” Feature
Both the CG-100 SRIII and the CG-130 SRIII have the facility to die cut thorough the media. The knife cuts all the way through the media, but at a set distance, it will leave a small tab which holds the item in place on the sheet. It can then be simply popped out of the sheet.
How ‘Half-Cut’ Works
Optical Registration
The CG-SRIII series is fitted with an optical re-alignment system, which allows you to cut out prints that have been produced using Mimaki’s registration mark system. The machine is fitted with an optical sensor that is built in to the cutting head. This scans for the registration marks, and after automatically compensating for any stretch or skew, will accurately cut the graphics.
FineCut Software
The CG-SRIII series cutters supplied with Mimaki’s renown FineCut software. This is a software plugin the is installed into either Adobe Illustrator (both Mac & PC) or CorelDRAW!. This sophisticated software plug-in turns your Illustrator or CorelDRAW! software into a cutting powerhouse. The software will automatically put on any necessary registration marks, tile, nest and output to the cutter.
